Why are you involved in Together! Healthy Knox? “United Way of Greater Knoxville has ten year goals (starting in 2009) in the areas of education, income, and basic needs. The target issues of “health” are looking at maternal health and infant well-being, basic healthcare coverage and prevention as well as healthy youth
and adults.”

*Together! Healthy Knox uses Mobilizing for Action through Planning and Partnerships (MAPP), a model developed by the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), for a planned approach to improve health and quality of life.
