Focus Groups on Health and Quality of Life
Together! Healthy Knox would like to give a big THANK YOU to everyone who participated in the first
round of gathering community input, through surveys and focus groups. This information will help identify priority health issues, as well as our community strengths and assets to address them, leading to an action plan for a Knox County where every person is a healthy person!
Focus groups were conducted at nine different sites throughout Knox County during the months of May and June, 2009, with over sixty participants. We are very grateful for the candid, constructive and respectful conversations held as we explored community health issues of concern, why they are important and what already exists in Knox County to make progress.
