President, HoLa (Hora Latina)

Bio: Coral was born in Spain, but has lived in Knoxville since 1990. She holds a Ph. D. in Physical Chemistry, and worked as a scientist at ORNL and a Spanish Instructor at UT. Presently she owns Spanish Language Solutions, a small translation and interpretation company, covering legal and medical assignments. She is a former president of the Autism Society of America, East Tennessee Chapter and the Tennessee Council for Developmental Disabilities. She presently chairs HoLa Hora Latina and sits at the Mayor’s Council for Disability Issues.  She recently launched “Sabor y Salud” a Latino art, cooking and culture program to learn and improve health.
