Coordinated School Health Specialist, Knox County Schools
Bio: Aneisa McDonald received her BS in Education and MS in Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She spent 12 years as a professional dance educator in Illinois, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Her coursework at the University of Tennessee guided her into the field of grant writing and eventually led to a position at the Metropolitan Drug Commission. At the Metropolitan Drug Commission, she served as a coalition coordinator for the federally funded Drug-Free Communities Grant Program from 2001-2007. In July 2007, she accepted a position with Knox County Schools as the Coordinated School Health Specialist.
